What Is the Sleep Calculator?

One big question we keep asking is, for how long do you need to sleep? As we all know, sleep is the best form of resting. However, due to the demands of a modern lifestyle, we might not be getting the correct amount of sleep in order to stay healthy.

How Much Sleep Do You Need?

Research suggests that adults should sleep seven hours or more per night on a regular basis for optimal health. Another study reports that a teenager should sleep 8 to 10 hours per 24 hours; children 6 to 12 years should sleep 9 to 12 hours; children 3 to 5 years should sleep 10 to 13 hours; children 1 to 2 years should sleep 11 to 14 hours; infants 4 to 12 months should sleep 12 to 16 hours. Additionally, according to the NSC, newborns should sleep 14 to 17 hours.
